What is the difference between Exilis Ultra and Exilis Elite? Is one more effective than the another one? Or there is an equivalence in terms of effectiveness, but they target different areas of the body and face? How about costs?
Answer: Exilis Ultra vs Exilis Elite The biggest difference between these two models is that with the upgrade to Exilis Ultra, there was the addition of the ultrasound handpiece to increase faster penetration of heat and more uniform distribution which also makes for a more comfortable and effective treatment. As a result of the combination of ultrasound and radiofrequency the treatments are faster and less treatments are needed. Exilis treatments are very comfortable. It uses both Radiofrequency as well as Ultrasound to achieve the best noninvasive skin tightening results for body areas and works really well for the face and neck as well. Goal is to raise skin temperature to 42-44 degrees and maintain for several minutes to achieve the best in skin tightening. Because of the cooling effect of the tip, the RF energy can also be delivered deeper to help permanently reduce small bulges of fat and cellulite.

I have used both machines and I have found that the results with the newer Exilis Ultra are significantly better and that patient comfort is dramatically improved compared to the previous Exilis and Exilis Elite. As always, the training, experience and credentials of the service professional are the most important fundamental in achieving optimal results and minimizing complications.
