Exilis- does the fat reduction setting also cause skin tightening?

Question

Hello, my understanding of exilis is that there are two settings, a fat reduction setting and a skin tightening setting. If I get fat reduction done, will it also tighten my skin, or will I have to get a second round of treatment with skin tightening? Thanks

Thank you for your question in regards to Exilis. There are two hand pieces that can be used while treating with Exilis. One is small and only used for skin tightening, the larger hand piece can tighten skin and melt fat depending on the settings. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

There are two handpieces on the Exilis Ultra.  One is strictly skin tightening, the other is combination fat reduction and skin tightening.  However, depending on the condition of your body, you may need additional skin tightening or combo treatments.  Your provider can advise you on the number of treatments for your specific situation. There are two handpieces for this device.  The larger handpiece is for the body and can do skin tightening and/or fat reduction.  The smaller handpiece for the face can only do skin tightening.  Fat reduction and skin tightening can be combined in one treatment depending the settings used for the treatment.  An experienced provider is able to adjust the settings to determine the best outcome.
