Doctor threw out tray number 1 and accidentally gave me the attachment template. How should I handle this?

Dr. Threw out Tray Number 1 and Accidently Gave Me the Attachment Template. I knew something wasn't right! I've been wearing what I thought was tray number one for two weeks only to discover that it was actually the attachment template! They must have thrown out tray one and given me the template to wear. So mad! When I put on tray two the pain was out of this world. Now looking at my trays they all have the letter 'N' on the bottom except for that one which has a letter "T" for template! Waste of 2 weeks and my money for that tray. How should I handle this? Can my treatment be ruined now? I'm doing express so I only have ten trays and one was thrown out!

Every office has their own policy. It does take the staff time and materials to order a refinement. But in my office all refinements and corrections are included.

I would recommend removing the trays while you drink your coffee.  Invisalign recommends that you wear your trays 22 hrs/day, so there is some time that the trays can be out of your mouth.  I would not recommend drinking the coffee with the trays in, not even through a straw, as the...

Based on your description, I would recommend returning to your dentist, so that he/she can take a look at your attachment and tray to determine whether either needs to be adjusted or not.  It is usually very important for attachments to match up properly, but in some cases, certain...
