Would changing Invisalign weekly effect the overall goal?

So, your dentist tells you to switch trays once every week, instead of once every two weeks and you are concerned.  Well, let me tell you now that you have nothing to worry about and here's why.  When your dentist chooses your treatment plan with Invisalign, they can choose to move your teeth once every week, once every two weeks or once every three weeks.  The default is every two weeks and this is the most common treatment selected, but some dentists choose much smaller movements spread over double the amount of trays with more frequent tray changes.  I'll show you an example below:Patient A, B, and C will have the exact same teeth movements and will both take 16 weeks to complete.Patient A - in 18 weeks, it will take 9 trays, with tray change every 2 weeks. (most common)Patient B - in 18 weeks, it will take 18 trays, with tray change every 1 week. (moves teeth in smaller increments)Patient C - in 18 weeks, it will take 6 trays, with tray change every 3 weeks.
