Perfect facial symmetry doesn't exist and actually looks unnatural when created digitally. You could consider hair grafting to the thinner side or laser hair removal. Those fine hairs are very normal though and laser hair removal could make it appear unnatural. This will likely thin as you age. Look at older males in your family to get an idea of how your hairline might change with age.
Rest assured everyone has some asymmetry to the brow line. If we didn't, we would likely look quite unnatural. That said, if your asymmetry bothers you, there are some options. I would likely recommend hair transplantation to adjust the line. I perform the follicular unit technique, which results in less scarring and produces the most natural result. I encourage you to schedule a consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon with expertise in hair transplantation. Your surgeon can help you determine whether this approach is right for you based on an in-person examination and more detailed discussion of your concerns and goals.
You are right that your hairline is uneven. This is natural though. It is actually the most difficult part of hair transplant. The goal is to create an uneven look to the hair line. A straight hairline at the frontal area looks odd and mechanical and is a tell tale sign of hair transplant. Enjoy your full thick hair! it looks great.Hope this helps.Best of luck,DrC
The hairline is always asymmetrical and uneven, so this is normal. Consider hair transplants to augment more hair on the weak side, or laser hair removal on the opposite side
That depends on whether you want the lower part higher, or the higher part lower. For the former, laser hair removal may good for you. You have dark hair and light skin so that makes you an ideal candidate. for the latter, well done single follicle hair transplantation is a great option. Good luck in your process!
Hello.Your hairline appears uneven due to the fine hair. A potential solution is the use of laser hair removal. It is best to seek the advice of a plastic surgeon in your local area before embarking on any treatment.Kind regards,Ivo
Dear coolmen,Thank you for your clinical post and photograph. Uneven hairlines are very common. Analysis of yourphotograph appears that you have very fine hair in the pre-frontal hairline, but even the thick hair of the hairline is uneven. Certainly, laser hair removal of the finehair will resolve some of this issue although there are problems in hairlinelaser hair removal in darker skin patients. At my centre we’ve been doing laser hair removal on all skin types forover 17 years and can generally do a good job at cleaning up fine hair alongthe pre-frontal hairline. The real issuewould be the thicker hair is also uneven; it’s thicker on the left side of thephotograph and lower than on the right side. Ultimately, the most even hairline will be achieved with hairtransplantation. We use a non-linear scartechnique called follicular unit extraction using the NeoGraft and Artasdevices and have been doing so for 7 years. We have many patients where we’ve been able to create nice evenhairlines, lower hairlines in thick and thinning areas of hair.I think you’d be a good candidate for a combination of thesetechniques.I hope this information has been of some assistance and bestof luck. For more information, please review the link below.R. There are a couple of options which might benefit your situation. One is a brow lift, which could help with the asymmetry. If the issue is the finer hair that extends below your natural hairline, then laser hair removal may be an option. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who has extensive experience. Best wishes, Dr. Lepore.
There are several options, depending on your specific situation (location/degree of droop, etc) and motivation. There are different ways to surgically repair a drooping brow, each with its advantages and disadvantages. In addition, strategically placed botulinum toxins (ie, Botox) can give a...
I have come to prefer the pretrichial or hairline brow lifts it targets the elevation of the principal goal of the surgery, the lateral brow. It has greater capability to address brow asymmetry but does produce some forehead numbness.
I'm sorry to hear about your accident. Although, I' not certain a reverse brow lift would be in your best interest, there are options of scar revisions and/or hair transplants, which I believe could help. You may want to wait a few more months for the scars to further soften...
