I always feel my eyebrows are heavy and I constantly raise them up and it looks really bad people always comment. I have never had a surgery or had a Botox treatment and it has been for a long time
Answer: Have concerns assessed in person The brows can seem heavy either due to being naturally prominent, or due to the aging process (which causes sagging of the brow and forehead). A brow lift can help if your tissues are sagging, but it may not be effective if your brows are naturally prominent because of your facial structure. It’s better to have your concerns assessed in person by a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Heavy Brow Treatment Botox can help if the condition is relatively mild. However results from Botox last 3-5 months. If you are looking for something more long lasting you can consider brow lift surgery. I prefer the Endoscopic Brow Lift Technique as the results are very natural and patients heal quickly.

Answer: Heavy Eyebrows If your eyebrows have a lower configuration on your face or if your eyes are somewhat deeper set, the brows can sometimes feel like they are heavy on the upper eyelid area. A surgical brow lift can improve this appearance and the options include coronal, pretrichial, endoscopic, temporal, and direct brow lifts. There is no way to determine the option that is best suited to treat your condition without a full examination. Although endoscopic brow lifts can have some of the more pleasing cosmetic results, this procedure does not work as well for patients who have heavier brow tissues/facial musculature, or for patients who have any degree of weakness of the forehead muscle. In these patients, there are still other surgical options that can give a very natural improvement and cosmetic result.Botox injections in carefully placed areas around the eyes can also serve to elevate the brows and open up the eye area somewhat. However, in some patients who feel that they constantly raise the brows, this is a secondary effect of an underlying droopy eyelid problem. In these cases, there is a subconscious lifting of the brows in order to try to elevate droopy eyelids, which can otherwise block the patient's vision or cause the sensation of heaviness. For these patients, it is not advisable to treat the forehead area with Botox, as this may cause temporary weakening of the forehead (frontalis) muscle and can potentially cause a temporary worsening of an underlying droopy eyelid condition. Make certain to consult with an experienced injector who is comfortable with evaluating the eyelid, brow, and forehead areas prior to your treatment.Best, Dr. Gregory Lewen

Answer: Heavy brows There are several options, depending on your specific situation (location/degree of droop, etc) and motivation. There are different ways to surgically repair a drooping brow, each with its advantages and disadvantages. In addition, strategically placed botulinum toxins (ie, Botox) can give a "chemical" lift when done in the appropriate location and at the correct dose. Your best bet would be to have an in-person consultation with an experienced surgeon with proven results. He/she will be able to present options, give recommendations, and answer all of your questions prior to you coming to a decision on a treatment plan.

Answer: I always feel my eyebrows are heavy and I constantly raise them Hi, if your eyebrows are positioned low on the forehead, then a Brow Lift may be indicated. Photos of the forehead and eyebrows in the relaxe dposition would help in the evaluation.
