If you want totreat your abdominals with CoolSculpting, I would advise waitinguntil the incisions from your breast procedure have healed beforeproceeding. This can take about 3 to 4 weeks.CoolSculptingis completely noninvasive, but it does sometimes cause some minorswelling and discomfort, which may be exacerbated if your body isstill healing from surgery. Consult with your surgeon to find out howwell your body is healing. Once you get the all-clear, please find aboard-certified dermatologist who has been certified by Zeltiq foryour CoolSculpting treatment.
My recommendation would be to get clearance from the plastic surgeon who performed your breast augmentation. Likely, a 6-8 week post surgical recovery period following your augmentation surgery, should suffice. Best of luck,Dr. Philip Solomon, Solomon Facial Plastic, Toronto, Canada
It is advised to allow proper healing time before undergoing another procedure. Typically 3 weeks would be sufficient. Seek the advice of a medical professional. All the best,Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. For this particular inquiry, I would recommend getting clearance from your surgeon. Coolsculpting is a non-invasive treatment to remove subcutaneous fat. In your case, it would depend on which area of the abdomen you were wanting to treat, as the upper abdomen may be too close to the area you had surgery; and you would want to make sure you were completely healed prior to Coolsculpting. Consult with your surgeon before proceeding.
I would recommend asking your plastic surgeon when he/she is ok with you having CoolSculpting after your breast lift. Only the two of you know how your healing process is going. If you are only having your lower abdomen treated, I would say you could have CoolSculpting as soon as you feel up to it. If you are having the upper abdomen treated, your plastic surgeon may advise you wait a specified period of time to ensure no issues occur.
It all will depend on which area of the abdomen you are CoolSculpting. Women tend to have 3 abdominal areas: lower, mid, & upper. The upper is very close to the under breast area & should be avoid for at least a month after surgery. Otherwise you are safe to proceed with CoolSculpting anytime!
Since Coolsculpting is noninvasive you should be able to have it done fairly soon. The only potentiall problem I can think of would be if you were treating high on the upper abdomen , as you would not want any extra tension applied to wound under breast area. I would ssk your breast surgeon and go with her advice. Hope this helps, Lana Long, MD
No, CoolSculpting does not have effects on internal organs. It selectively targets fat cells that are OUTSIDE the abdominal wall. A gastrointestinal specialist or hepatologist will be more helpful to manage this condition.
Vanquish uses radio-frequency which heats the fat cells. Any metal object can be heated by the treatment causing damage to the surrounding tissue and is therefore contraindicated. CoolSculpting does not cool the deeper tissues and therefore would be a safe procedure with an...
Hello and thank you for reaching out. Results from CoolSculpting can take anywhere from 5-6 weeks to see the start of your transformation, as well as a couple of months to see the final outcome. Depending on if a second treatment at 30-45 days was recommended, there's still a little bit of time...
