Cellulite on thighs after butt implants?

Question

I got butt implants in the muscle in Oct17th, now I have serious cellulite behind my thighs right below the implants! This cellulite was never there before as I was always very thin with super skinny legs!! I believe the implants are pushing fat down and creating cellulite? Is this possible? What can I do? I regret getting these implants as they’ve been nothing but trouble and look very unnatural even at almost 1 year post op! Please help.

Your observation is definitely unusual, but possible.Buttock augmentation cannot create cellulite, but it can make preexisting cellulite more visible. There is more volume pushing the tissues out and the restricting bands causing dimple retraction in cellulite can be made more visible.Having said that, this is not usually long term problem but can be an explanation. Pictures to help assess the extent of the issue would be helpful.

Unfortunately, this is a very difficult question to answer without an in person physical exam or at least some photos. That being said what you describe is unusual and I am wondering if it is just because of your very thin/skinny anatomy or if the implants are on top of the muscle instead of intra-muscular. buttock implant should not cause cellulite. consult with your plastic surgeon to figure out what you can do to minimize the cellulite
