I am a big believer in the use of cannulas for fillers, especially in the upper face. Cannulas make treatment so much easier for the patient. I have used all three of the mentioned brands. Currently I prefer Softfil cannulas because they have distance dots spaced out along the cannula which helps make treatment more precise and they have a dot on the hub which indicates which side the cannula opening is on. Usually I prefer to keep the dot pointing toward the skin to keep injections in a deeper plane. Regards,Dr. Ort
You may still have some bruising. If it persists, I recommend following up with your injector. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Best, Dr. Emer
