I am a big believer in the use of cannulas for fillers, especially in the upper face. Cannulas make treatment so much easier for the patient. I have used all three of the mentioned brands. Currently I prefer Softfil cannulas because they have distance dots spaced out along the cannula which helps make treatment more precise and they have a dot on the hub which indicates which side the cannula opening is on. Usually I prefer to keep the dot pointing toward the skin to keep injections in a deeper plane. Regards,Dr. Ort

Hi @Amy Williams 69. I usually recommend starting with 1 syringe of Restylane when treating the tear troughs. I have the patient return in 2 weeks to see if adjustments need to be made. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
