How Many Times Can You Have Your Hairline Lowered?

There is a limit as to how much you can lower  lower your hairline .  The primary indication of the surgery is not lo lower your hairline.  I will recommend to have and expert hair restoration expert  evaluate your case.

You could probably have your hairline advanced again but at some point you will run out of skin. You can make more skin with tissue expanders or add hair with fat grafting, two great options

This is typically performed at the time of a brow lift in a patient whose forehead is greater than a third of the vertical height of the face.  In this situation the hairline is lowered as the eyebrows are raised.  If you feel your brows are in a normal position, I would consider grafting at that time so as not to over raise your brows and look startled.

Lowering the hairline can be done, but the amount of lowering can be limited by the scalp laxity. 1-2 cm is realistic. If the scalp is too tight or need secondary advancement, one needs to consider tissue expansion and then advancement of the hairline ( two surgeries)

If you want further hairline lowering and the scalp has no further laxity, transplants or an expanded hairline lowering can be done. If the scalp and upper forehead have good laxity( sometimes it returns) another simple hairline lowering can be done. I have had experiences with all three of these scenarios. and each  can work if properly chosen.

It is unfortunate that you did not achieve the desired result; in patients with a tight scalp it is difficult to lower the hairline. That's why we developed the use of tissue expanders many years ago. After stretching the scalp the hairline is lowered to reduce the forehead and improve facial proportions. Hair transplants cannot provide the same natural look with uniform density.
