Thumbsuckers Teeth Correction? (photo)

I am in my mid 30's and have been sucking my thumb into adulthood and unfortunately have done some major damage to my teeth. I have a mild case of thumbsuckers teeth. I was told that braces and invisalign would not correct most thumbsucker teeth issues, is that true???

There is no way invisalign is going to fix your crossbite.  It is hard to fix a crossbite like yours with conventional braces.  You need a lot of expansion on the upper - maybe even surgical assistance in the case.  I suggest you go for many consults and go for you feel who is...

A 9mm overjet is pretty significant and should be addressed as early as possible.  It sounds like a Class II corrector is needed to be able to correct your malocclusion if you are still in a growth spurt.  Otherwise, a surgical option may be the only other options you have to correct....
