Can my Crossbite be fixed by just using a pallet expander+braces+rubber bands? If not, is surgery even worth it? My only concern is really aesthetic because fortunately so far (Im only 32) my teeth havent caused jaw pain or headaches. Slight teeth wear but Id consider veneers in the future if needed.
i visited orthodontist & in x-ray a permanent canine is in bone & he said it'll take 3 yrs for it to come down through permanent braces when baby canine will be removed. main concern: 1.is adult canine strong & in status of actually come out ever? 2. if canine in bone removed & braces r put on my baby canine so will that baby canine able to persist braces' pressure? 3.best or other option from you expert saving time & give me the strongest canine out of them & evened incisors with braces on it ?
Im 32, my orthodontist wants to take out some of my healthy teeth to fix my overbite. He said Ill have to remove about 6 of them, my mouth is not crowded, but my teeth are big, according to him, Ill also be getting a braces. Im afraid this might have a consequence in future, Ive never worn a braces before but he said the braces will close the gap. Is this a good idea? What happens after I remove the braces, can the gaps open again?
I had bicuspid extractions over 10 years ago.I had overcrowding in my top jaw and my bicuspids never came in the lower jaw, so my top bicuspids were removed. I had braces for over 5 years for this process but my teeth were so tilted in I had to get more orthodontic work (Invisalign for 2 years). I am 25 and have extreme root resorption, a narrow smile, and a dished in profile. No ortho will reverse the extractions bc of my root resorption and I dont know what to do. What are my options?
I have a peg lateral on left side and missing right lateral incisor. I am 28 and considering to fix my teeth. My middle teeth have started to overlap a bit. My ortho suggested extraction of peg lateral and closing the space. Then substituting my canines to look like incisors. I read a lot about how canine substitution is not the best treatment here. Could you please advise what I should do?
My jaw is also not aligned. How it can be fixed? I'm planning to get traditional braces(metals) hoping it would fix my problem. This makes me to have low confidence and I'm 26 years old. First, I was concerned on my crooked teeth then now i noticed a lot. Misaligned jaw and then underbite.
My top front teeth are not aligned they are pushed forward and so are bottom front. Attached xray to know that i can use braces to fix this because I have teeth bone loss..or I can remove those front teeth and get dental implants will it solve the problem.
