Juvederm is not recommended during pregnancy because it is an elective procedure and no studies have been performed to test its safety. With that said, there has also been no evidence of it causing harm to a fetus.
Dear samankh222,Most physicians would not inject any type of soft tissuefiller, Botox, neuromodulator or even perform any laser procedure for aestheticreasons during pregnancy. Although thereare no known specific risks of simple sugars such as Juvederm on the fetus anddeveloping baby, it is just wise not to perform any procedures that cause painand discomfort and foreign products in the system during gestation. As you had your Juvederm 10 days prior to realizing you werepregnant I would not at this point do anything but leave the body to its owndevices and naturally remove the Juvederm product over time. There are no known studies that link the useof Juvederm to any kind of a fetal or baby abnormalities or increase instanceof miscarriage. So, I would relax, disclose and discuss this with your obstetrician/gynecologist and I’m sure thatyou’ll have a healthy baby and you can concern yourself with your aestheticappearance once you are no longer pregnant.I hope this information has been of some assistance and bestof luck. For more information, please review the link below.R. Juvederm is a natural substance and its presence in the body will almost certainly NOT hurt you or your baby. Talk to your Plastic Surgeon and quit worrying. My Best, Dr C

I understand your insecurity with your lips, but it is illegal to perform any sort of injections or plastic surgery to a minor without parental consent. I would recommend also waiting a bit, as you age things change and your lips could get larger. As for the cost, it varies per location.
Hello I'm terribly sorry to have missed you in real time so I probably cannot help with your question, but I felt that it was an important question to answer. Swelling, a sensation of "heat" and redness is completely normal after injections, with the most significant...
