Deep horizontal neck lines could be significantly improved with fillers. There are many different products that could be used to smooth out these lines. I personally prefer Belotero. This is a filler that was specificaly designed to treat superficial wrinkles around the face and neck. It is injected directly into the skin crease and makes the line a lot less noticable. Keep in mind, that like with most other fillers, the beneficial effect of Belotero would be temporary.Best wishes!Dr. Konstantin
Yes we use fillers like belotero all the time to give improvement in this area along with lasers and skin tightening. Best, Dr. Emer.
Fillers can help horizontal neck lines but it all depends who does the filling as this area can frequently be mistreated.I recommend seeking an experienced physician who does a lot of fillers.
I agree with Dr Commons. the neck lines are naturally present at birth and get deeper with time. I do a fair number of neck procedures. sometimes I undermine them and release them from the tight adhesions followed by fat grafting (microinjections) thats been my fave way to take care of them.
A multifaceted approach to problem areas like this seems to be the best way to go. Yes, you can use soft fillers for temporary improvement, but you should also do something more to stimulate your body to improve its own collagen production. I like the Exilis Ultra 360 for combined radio frequency and ultrasound treatment for this area, and you can certainly add micro needling. Effective skin care products are crucial as well.
My choice for filler for neck wrinkles is Belotero. It can easily be smoothed so no bumps are left.
While I have put fillers in many places, the neck lines have not been one of them. Like Dr. Commons said, we all have them. I suppose it could be tried with some of th thinner products since the skin is very thin. Facelifts may soften them a bit.
We are all born with substantial horizontal neck wrinkles. Look at babies and children. As we age they become a little more obvious. As they deepen there is no absolute treatment. As they become deeper we look at them as age signs. A . The facelift helps but only a little. Juvederm can be injected into the area and it helps a little but does not eliminate the lines. Hope this helps. Dr C
I understand your insecurity with your lips, but it is illegal to perform any sort of injections or plastic surgery to a minor without parental consent. I would recommend also waiting a bit, as you age things change and your lips could get larger. As for the cost, it varies per location.
Hello I'm terribly sorry to have missed you in real time so I probably cannot help with your question, but I felt that it was an important question to answer. Swelling, a sensation of "heat" and redness is completely normal after injections, with the most significant...
Vitrase doesn't damage normal skin, it cant due to the pH difference in the medication versus normal skin hyaluronic acid. I suggest you see a filler expert to assess the area and improve with future treatments. Best, Dr. Emer.
