In general, it is difficult to evaluate somebody with a single up close photograph of their nose. Since you have had two nasal surgeries, it may be best to avoid further surgery which would be exponentially more difficult than the first. Wishing you well moving forward. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

There are elements to the photo that indicate that you do indeed have thicker than average skin. Having said that, though, whether a revision can narrow your tip depends on how much tip cartilage is left, what its strength and shape and position are, and how much of the width of your tip is the cartilage vs the thick skin. For example, if the cartilages are strong and broad and controlling the tip width, then a revision very well might help. But if the cartilages are thin and weak, and all of the tip width is your skin, then you're probably done. If I had to guess, based on this photo, I'd say that more can be done. But as I said, I or anyone else would have to feel your nose first.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining revision rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement.
