Hello and thank you for your question. You should wait around 1 month after the peel to do thermage. Even though thermage is not a resurfacing procedure, it is best to let your skin heal completely. Consult with a board certified, experienced cosmetic provider and discuss your goals and concerns. Good luck to you!
Hi, thank you for your question! Thermage should be performed at a minimum of two weeks after a peel. Depending on the intensity of the peel I would recommend waiting until the skin is fully healed for Thermage to be performed.
Timing for Thermage following appeal is somewhat dependent upon the type of peel you had done. As a general rule, I would wait until all of the peeling and redness is gone and add two weeks on top of that.
There are many types of skin care treatments and some chemical peels are deeper and more aggressive than others. For a light chemical peel like glycolic acid, Thermage can be performed within 2 to 3 weeks, if there were no complications or delayed healing. For a deep phenol or TCA peel, you should wait 6 to 12 months before having Thermage. As always it is best to discuss your particular situation with your plastic surgeon or dermatologist.
