Hello, When I lift up the outer corners of my upper eyelids I really like the way it looks. Is there a type of surgery that does this? Is it a type of ptosis correction? Thank you!

Answer: Eyelid Surgery Simple answer is that yes, if you combine the eyelid surgery with canthoplasty you can raise the outer conner of the eye, but this surgery might not be right for you. or by doing face lift you might achieve some raise in the corner of the eye. you need to see an experienced board certified plastic surgeon to evaluate you face and answer you questions.Best,Ali Totonchi M.D.

Answer: Eyelift for outer eyelid The outer corner of the eyelid can be repositioned upward by canthal tightening procedure (canthoplasty) during which the lower eyelid is secured in a higher position. Canthoplasty may also be combined with a mid-cheek lift procedure. Both procedures can be added to a facelift, but neither one them is part of a regular facelift procedure.
