Do the tummy tuck belt really works

The belt lipectomy combined with a tummy tuck is a good procedure but usually only needed in cases of significant weight loss due to gastric bypass or lap band surgery.  Most women for tummy tucks only need the tightening in front from hip to hip.

The tummy tuck would be able to address loose skin and tighten the abdominal wall. I do not think that a belt could produce these changes.Find a plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of tummy tuck procedures each year. Then look at the

Is a good temporary option. Useful for social functions etc etc.Based in the current evidence,  this is not an alternative to a surgical solution such as a tummy tuck that offers a permanent solution.

Dear Abbreeca,Tummy tuck belts really cannot address the underlying issues that are treated with a tummy tuck.  The separation of the abdominal muscles often from childbearing.  The loose skin and stretch marks. Etc.  If these devices truly did accomplished what their claims are, everyone would be singing their praises and there would be little need for tummy tucks.  The only thing to be certain about these devices is that they will make your wallet thinner.The best option is to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive background in abdominoplasty and can determine what is the right treatment to address your concerns. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, an abdominal stretch belt or binder, alone, will not achieve the results of a surgical tummy tuck.  The belt, along with a good diet and exercise program, can help to reduce subcutaneous fat, but it will not address the loose skin or stretched abdominal wall.  These problems can only be adequately treated during a  surgical tummy tuck .  Best wishes.
