Ialways put small white surgical tapes over the incision, called steri-strips,and even change them at 2 weeks, leaving them on another week or two.The tapes help to reinforce the incisionwhile it’s healing, and I think it leads to better scar formation than if youdidn’t use them.
Many times surgeons will use steri-strips or another method of taping an incisioni as it heals. I see no reason for you to doubt your surgeon's advice.
Many surgeons tape incisions for varying lengths of time. Your surgeons advice is not out of the norm. All the best.
Taping of the incisions for more than 2 weeks after surgery is not uncommon. If applied correctly, the tape can help take some of the tension off the scar and help the healing. He/she knows you best.

Thanks for your inquiry, it appears you have hyperpigmentation from bruising after surgery. I would tell you to seek the opinion of your plastic surgeon about your choices. Good luck.
Thank you for your question. Abdominal swelling is normal after breast augmentation. Swelling follows gravity and thus your abdomen (and sometimes the thighs) will experience more swelling and add confusion to the post-op period. You may even notice that you've added many pounds on the scale...
Always inform your surgeon. Melatonin is fine to take before any cosmetic surgery and I would not worry about it. Good luck
