I had rhinoplasty over a month ago and can still very much feel the bone in my nose being uneven and appears as if it wasn't properly decreased. Does the bone get swollen as well as the tissue? and if my doctor agrees he didn't shave enough off, when could I have him take more off?

Often a rhinoplasty does not require osteotomies. If it does, it is used to 1. close an open roof nasal base or 2. refine the dorsum. If done through an external percutaneous approach it can be carefully controlled as it does not spring back to the pre-operative position.
Leaving the nose too long is one of the common complaints after rhinoplasty. It is surprising how easy this is to both avoid and correct. It involved strategic removal of cartilage and nasal lining at the lower end of the nose. It doesn’t necessarily require breaking the bones.
