Answer: Alar base reduction
i can do it in austin if you want to come to have surgery and visit a great city.
our charge is about or less than $2000 us (i usually do this as part of a full rhinoplasty so i dont have the cost for that memorized). you dont need to go to "sleep" for it so there aren't any sig additional expenses.
you can contact my office for more information

Answer: Whats the Cost if You Just Want to Reduce the Width of Your Nose?
Alar base reduction may be $1000 to $2000 in the simplest of cases. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of rhinoplasties and rhinoplasty revisions each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.

Answer: Narrowing the nose during Asian rhinoplasty
Specific techniques are used to address each part of the nose. Weir incisions can be used to narrow the flare of the nostrils and the width of the nostrils. Tip refining techniques are used to narrow the tip of the nose, while osteotomies can be used to narrow the bony part of the nasal bridge. Seek out qualified Asian rhinoplasty specialists who you feel comfortable with first, then worry about the cost.

Answer: Width reduction
The formal name is an alar base wedge excision, also known as a Weir wedge excision.
It is fairly straightforward, can be done under local anaesthetic with or without sedation, and any surgeon who does rhinoplasties frequently would be just fine. I would expect Melbourne has a lot of surgeons who would be delighted to see you.
As a caveat, I would note that I have rarely, if ever, operated on a nose where the alar bases are the only issue.
