I've read a bit about these and am very interested, though extensive information doesn't seem available. The infrastructure consists of a honeycomb design; they are 1/3 the weight of traditional implants, with no risk of leaking if punctured. From what I've read so far, they are still in the trial phase, though have been used in surgery. Is there any way to have a procedure in the United States with these implants?
