I have been wearing ceramic braces for 1 year and 2 months now.My orthodentist say it was the time of space closing for extraction site.But I didn't see any improvement or movement of my right upper premolar and left lower premolar.My ortho said my teeth were moving slowly than expected and I couldn't see any improvement for these two teeth.What was the problem in this case and what should I do? I wanna know is it because of the ceramic braces?

While ceramic braces may have more friction than metal braces when sliding teeth on the wire, the difference is not significant. Extraction spaces can take a year or more to close, especially in adults that have had missing teeth for years. The speed at which your teeth move has to do with your bone metabolism and not the type of braces you have.  Try avoiding advil or anything with an anti-inflammatory property and be patient with the process
