I'm 25 , skinny girl , 110 lbs 5'5. Wanting a full C! So my consultation was the same day as my surgery being that it was done in Thailand and having limited time out of the country. I had to choose between 340cc small and then 400 cc. There was nothing in between !! Will 340cc make much a difference? Will it be a C cup?.. The bandages are still on me and very tight .I went with 340cc under the muscle, incision through the armpit. Will they expand at least? Overtime?
Answer: Size result Hello,Your breast implants will not expand, but sometimes the swollen, tight tissue of your breasts and muscle will compress/flatten and displace the implant volume somewhat. After a few months when they have softened and settled a bit, they may appear to "fluff" out. Your breasts will likely change a lot over the next few months so I recommend that you try to hold off assessing results until 6 months. All the best

Answer: I am worried 340cc is too small! I am 34b (or A) pre-op and wanted a full C! Thank you for your questions and for sharing your photographs. It is common to have a range of emotions right after your surgery, especially as you can not yet assess your results. Remember that healing after a breast augmentation may take 6 months or longer as your implants drop, and the overlying tissues stretch to give you a more natural shape. Give your results time to mature and then fit a bra to correctly support your breasts. Remember that the relative shape and size to your body is more important than what your bra measurement is. Hope this helps.

Answer: I am worried 340cc is too small! I am 34b (or A) pre-op and wanted a full C! (Photo) As I'm sure you've been told, there is no direct correlation between cc's and cup size. The goal of breast augmentation is to optimally fill your breast pocket, given your breast measurements. If 340cc does that, then your breast pockets will be optimally filled and you will have the best results. Best to now let your body heal and allow the implants to drop and settle some while the swelling resolves. Good luck!

Answer: I am worried 340cc is too small! I am 34b (or A) pre-op and wanted a full C! Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation procedure. Generally speaking, breast implants will "drop" into the pocket that was created during surgery and massaging the implants downward may assist in the dropping of the implants after surgery (for those patients who want to help with the settling of the implants). The rate of breast implant "settling" may depend on factors such as size of breast implant pocket dissected, tightness of the overlying skin/muscle layers, and size of breast implant utilized. Normally, it takes about 3-6 months (for some patients longer) to see the final result. It is very common for one side to settle faster than the other.Online consultants will not be able to predict, with any reliability/accuracy, what cup size you will end up wearing. You will need to go bra shopping/fitting; in my practice, I ask patients to wait 3 to 6 months before doing so. Don't be surprised, at that time, if you end up different wearing different bra cup sizes, depending on who makes the bra. Generally speaking, I ask my patients not to communicate their goals and/or evaluate the outcome of breast surgery in terms of achieving a specific cup size ( given the variability in the measurement of cup sizes…). Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with, regardless of the specific cup size achieved.

Answer: I am worried 340cc is too small! I am 34b (or A) pre-op and wanted a full C! I appreciate your question. Right now, you are very early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Dr. Schwartz
