Hi, it has been 6 months after my rhinoplasty with an I-implant. To cut to the question after all the swelling has gone down I notice there is a line on the bridge and on the tip in the shape of the I-implant. I can also feel the implant as if it's on the surface (applying slight pressure makes it squish). But it is not crooked, it just 'floats'. I asked my surgeon and he is adamant that he wrapped the implant in cartilage and that I must have manipulated it which I did not! What happened??

Hard to tell if you really have Rhinophyma from the limited photo. My surgical preference would be to perform dermabrssion to thin the skin. Laser can also be effective but in many cases can't go as deep as you need.
Thank you for your question and sharing your photo. Unfortunately, it is difficult to diagnose with a photo on the internet. If you have trouble breathing this could be fixed with surgery by a board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck!Dhaval M. Patel Double Board Certified Plastic S...
