Just had my FUE operation yesterday. How can I tell if I did any damage by accidentally tapping on transplanted hair?

Hi there. I just had my FUE operation yesterday (around 4500 grafts). This morning, I accidentally tapped (very soft touch) a section of transplanted hair. Today I saw my doctor for a check-up, he said he didn't see any issue, but I'm not sure how he can tell by a quick scan of my head. Any ideas how I can tell if I damaged anything?

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative issues as each doctor has their unique regimen.  Tapping your hair should not be an issue.

If you have a bleeding and blood came out after you tapped your head probably you may
missed a couple of grafts with dislodgement of them. But because you do not mention about bleeding , I think  there will be no harm on follicles.

Hi, How are you? Chances are that if you tapped your head your fine. I would however worry if you bumped your head and started bleeding. However, if it wasn't anything like that then I think your fine especially if you have asked your DR. who is a professional.

If you were already checked out one days after FUE, then you did as much as you need to do,. I suspect that your doctors knows what he/she is looking at
