Just had my FUE operation yesterday. How can I tell if I did any damage by accidentally tapping on transplanted hair?

Hi there. I just had my FUE operation yesterday (around 4500 grafts). This morning, I accidentally tapped (very soft touch) a section of transplanted hair. Today I saw my doctor for a check-up, he said he didn't see any issue, but I'm not sure how he can tell by a quick scan of my head. Any ideas how I can tell if I damaged anything?

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  You can trim your hair at this stage.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  Losing one graft should not be an issue.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  If you had bleeding then some grafts may have dislodged. There is no way to tell based on a photo.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  Drying your hair or keeping your hair wet has no impact on hair loss or hair growth.

If you are having issues after surgery, especially with "tightness" you should contact your doctor.  There is no way to tell what is going on via Internet.
