Can trim my hair using a clipper 4 weeks onwards post FUE surgery?

I want to trim my hair 4 weeks onwards post FUE surgery to keep a buzz look (grade 1-4) until hair grows back. What are your recommendations because some say 4 weeks, some say 2 weeks onwards and others 6 months. All very confusing?

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  You can trim your hair at this stage.

You may start to trim your hair with trimmer , scissor 2 weeks after the FUE operation. Also you may buzz cut hair after 6 weeks . That will not harm the follicles and does not effect the final result.

Hello, Thank you for your question.4 weeks postoperative, is a very early stage for shaving/trimming head, especially recipient area.
I do not suggest my patients to shave their head at least for 6 months after the surgery.  
If you want to have a short haircut, let your barber use scissors. But first, check with your Doctor and take his advice.

At 4 weeks after an FUE, you can do anything you want, cut it, clip it or even dye it if you wish to do that
