Can fat from thighs be used for BBL revision? (photos)

Ideal candidates are at a stable weight,  in good health , and have excess fat in some parts of the body and too little in other regions.  Gaining weight before the procedure is to no advantage and when you lose weight again the fat cells will shrink just like the donor site fat cells.  Typically, the transferred fat results in a significant increase in volume of the body site being treated.

The fat from the tights can be used to perform a Brazilian butt lift, as any other fat extracted from your body actually. If you're not satisfied with your results you can get submitted to another liposuction to do another fat graft but probably only the fat on your tighs won't give a lot of volume Make sure to expose to your certified plastic surgeon all your expectations of the surgery. I did not see photos of your dissatisfaction.  You can go back to transfer more fat to the buttocks to increase the volume and improve the contour.    There is also the skin laxity issue that may need to be addressed in the future such as body lifting surgeries to accentuate the volume and to give a lifted and rounder shape.  

Hello, and  thank you for your question.It is very feasible to add additional fat to your buttocks even though you have already had a BBL.  I'm sorry you feel you didn't the results you wanted the first time around.  The good news is that you appear to have fat around the midsection for harvesting via iposuction.  The hips, thighs any other site that has fat can be used to collect the amount of tissue needed to provide you with the specific results you want and deserve.You will get a flatter tummy as a result and a larger buttocks.  Also, it will be very important that you wear your post surgical compression garmet as instructed after surgery to make sure your tissue survives.  Thank you,Dr. ObengBeverly Hills, CA
