I recently had a bbl with 600cc transfered to each buttock that was taken from my abdomen, flanks, and back. I want to have a revision to have more transferred because I do not really see a difference and do no have to lift I wanted. I am 5'4" and weigh 155lbs. If I have liposuction on my thighs will that be enough to add to my buttocks to see a difference?

Answer: Brazilian Buttock Lift (BBL): Information Dear Tlobelle,Thank you for your questions and photosThe process for performing a BBL is the same regardless of the patients weight:1) harvest the fat 2) purify the fat3) inject the fatThe amount injected depends on how much fat there is available to harvest.Based on your photos it appears that you still have available fat in your abdominal area. One can try to gain weight prior to the procedure in hope that the areas you gain the weight can be harvested.I trust you have chosen a Plastic Surgeon who is Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (denoting by membership as having met additional criteria and a focus on Cosmetic Plastic Surgery). My best wishes,R. Answer: Adding More Fat after an initial Brazilian Butt Lift Hello, and thank you for your question. It is very feasible to add additional fat to your buttocks even though you have already had a BBL. I'm sorry you feel you didn't the results you wanted the first time around. The good news is that you appear to have fat around the midsection for harvesting via iposuction. The hips, thighs any other site that has fat can be used to collect the amount of tissue needed to provide you with the specific results you want and deserve. You will get a flatter tummy as a result and a larger buttocks. Also, it will be very important that you wear your post surgical compression garmet as instructed after surgery to make sure your tissue survives. Thank you,Dr. ObengBeverly Hills, CA
