Am I a candidate for lower body lift with tummy tuck? Will it flatten my buttocks? Will also need to tighten muscle in stomach. I also have loose skin above knees but not pictured.
Answer: 360 circumferential lower body lift Tummy tuck butt lift Abdominopalsty tightening abdominal muscles weight loss Hello, thank you very much for your questions regarding whether you would benefit from a 360 circumferential lower body lift. The short answer is “yes, you would benefit from a lower body lift”. A 360 circumferential lower body lift includes a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), lateral thigh lift, and buttock lift. So, a tummy tuck is already included in a lower body lift. Also, during a tummy tuck, the rectus abdominis or abdominal muscles are tightening with permanent sutures. To eliminate the wrinkles on your buttocks, the lower body lift will slightly flatten your buttocks. If you are overly concerned about flattening of the buttock with a lower body lift, I would suggest you consider an extended tummy tuck with autologous fat transfer to the buttock. The posterior or buttock component of this procedure is also called a Brazilian butt lift. The Brazilian butt lift will increase your buttock projection and fill in some of the buttock wrinkles. However, in my opinion, based on your pictures, you would do best with a lower body lift. Liposuction to your abdomen will not help. Thank you for your questions regarding a possible lower body lift. If you have any more questions regarding the 360 circumferential lower body lift, please contact my office. Sincerely, Dr.Katzen.

Answer: What is achieved after LBL It is wonderful what you have achieved after weight loss. Congratulations!!You have developed saggy tissues on your abdomen, abdominal muscle which make you look protruding, mild saggy buttocks and mild saggy thighs So you will be a great candidate for a Lower Body Lift which may include pubic lift, muscle repair to achieve a flatter abdomen and smaller waist, outer and front thigh lift and real buttocks lift BUT honestly, the inner thigh and the back of thighs will not improve much, because you may be a candidate for a vertical thigh lift, having in mind that thighs get saggy because of excess of width NOT of excess of length. NO Thigh lift through an incision done in the groin or the infra gluteal fold will improve the thighs (like in your photo) and either all the way to the knee area.I would also do a little lipo to lovehandles and waist to sculpt the area and use that precious fat to transfer to hips/butt.I foresee a great result because you already have a very nice and curvaceous body frame.Be encouraged Dr Cardenas

Answer: Abdominoplasty with BBL Based on these photos, it looks that you would benefit from abdominoplasty to shape your abdomen and improve skin laxity. Liposuction of thighs and knees and fat transfer to buttocks would create nice improvement in that area. In person evaluation is needed for more detailed plan of treatment. Good luck.

Answer: BBL and TT candidate Dear anguilla, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL and TT. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Would a lower body lift help? Hello and thank you for your question and photo's. A tummy tuck with muscle tightening is most likely what you will need. A lower body lift I am not sure you need, it is difficult without assessing you in person. I recommend you find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and discuss your goals.
