Hello, thank you very much for your questions regarding whether you would benefit from a 360 circumferential lower body lift. The short answer is “yes, you would benefit from a lower body lift”. A 360 circumferential lower body lift includes a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), lateral thigh lift, and buttock lift. So, a tummy tuck is already included in a lower body lift. Also, during a tummy tuck, the rectus abdominis or abdominal muscles are tightening with permanent sutures. To eliminate the wrinkles on your buttocks, the lower body lift will slightly flatten your buttocks. If you are overly concerned about flattening of the buttock with a lower body lift, I would suggest you consider an extended tummy tuck with autologous fat transfer to the buttock. The posterior or buttock component of this procedure is also called a Brazilian butt lift. The Brazilian butt lift will increase your buttock projection and fill in some of the buttock wrinkles. However, in my opinion, based on your pictures, you would do best with a lower body lift. Liposuction to your abdomen will not help. Thank you for your questions regarding a possible lower body lift. If you have any more questions regarding the 360 circumferential lower body lift, please contact my office. Sincerely, Dr.Katzen.
