Can my right side that's not symmetrical after 360 lift be revised? (Photos)

Question

I had a tummy tuck after massive weight loss which left me with good results but my sides and rear were carrying a lot of loose skin still so I eventually had my surgeon complete the procedure and lift all the way around my waist. Overall I like it but am very annoyed with the asymmetry. It seems like my right side was not lifted like my left. Is this possible to be fixed in a revision? I am 3 months post op from the last procedure. Also see bulges above my buttocks above the scar, swelling?

Hello, Thank you for your question whether you can undergo revision of the posterior portion of your 360 circumferential lower body lift. Overall, I think your results are excellent from your lower body lift. It is too early to tell what your final results will look like from your lower body lift surgery. It has only been three months from your tummy tuck and posterior body lift. I would wait till you were at least six months from your last procedure before any revisions of your lower body lift should be contemplated. Six months allows be swelling to diminish and any soft tissue change— including skin stretch and possible descent to take effect. When you were seeking a revision, please be sure you find an expert in the field of lower body lifts. Lower body lift is a very technical surgery and not every plastic surgeon is skilled in this type of surgery. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Thank you for your inquiry.   After viewing your photos, you have an excellent result from the lower body lift.     It is common to still have some residual fatty deposits following this procedure.    It is easily corrected with a small amount of liposuction.   I would recommend waiting another 3-4 months to allow for all of the swelling to resolve and the tissue to soften.   There are several methods of liposuction and any of them would be able to correct your contour issues.   Discuss this with your plastic surgeon.  Good luck.
