Question

The first few are befores and afters that I feel look like me, and the results she got is what I'm wanting for myself. The rest are pictures of me. I am 142 lbs and 5'3. My surgeon says he will remove the fat from my lower back and sides and abdominals. And he only wants to do 500cc each cheek. Do you think these first two results are attainable for me (on 500cc each cheek)?? If not, how much do you think I need? Help! I've got such anxiety over all of this. Thank you!

If you have concerns or doubts going into a procedure I think it is reasonable to get several opinions.

I think 500cc to each side is way to conservative given your wish photos. Remember 30-50% of the fat volume is lost over the first 3-6 months after surgery, so you must plan for that. You need to put more in so that you are left with a decent amount. Make sure you picked a board certified PS that does a lot of this procedure. Ask to see before/after photos. I find that PS that are new to this type of procedure are hesitant to place more than 500cc to each side. This may be a red flag. Ask them their reasoning for this number.

The best way to give you an opinion is with an evaluation. However rember that the procedure is a combination of add (lipoinyection) and subtract (liposuction) fat. If you trust your surgeon and your surgeon beliebes that balance could be achieved this way, may be it is.
