I had a tummy tuck about 4 weeks ago the scar seems really high and one side is higher up then the other . I feel like my pubic area was pulled up high as well is this something that may need a revision?
Answer: Uneven Abdominoplasty Scar At this point, you do not have many options to lower the scar since you don't have any loose tissue above the scar to pull down. Over time, your abdominal skin will loosen up some. At that point, a scar revision may be able to lower the scar.

Answer: Uneven scar! Sometimes uneven tummy scars are the result of our hips being uneven. Sometimes we even have one leg longer than the other. To answer your question, yes you may need a revision, but that may not be possible until there is enough loose skin present to modify the scar's location. in this case, time is on your side. As to your pubic region being pulled up, that is a common side effect of the surgery and is even necessary in some patients. I don't know, however, if that was necessary in your case. In any event, we have to wait for more healing to take place, re-evaluate, and then decide about revising everything. Hang in there and try to be patient!

Answer: 4 weeks The incision does look quite high and uneven. There is not much that can be done in the short term. This will need a revision, at some point in the future, (maybe a few years) when the skin is no longer tight. It may be possible to use loose skin from the abdomen to redrape and lower the scar (essentially a repeat tummy tuck). As to the hard spot, I am not sure where I should be looking. Best wishes.

Answer: There is a hard spot on my pubic area that sticks out. Is this normal after a Tummy Tuck? Really need to se a before photo to compare. But yes the incision too high, and uneven. Why? Was your surgeon a boarded PS?

Answer: Postoperative abdominoplasty concerns Based on your photos, you appear to have a high, straight, crooked scar with an enlarged umbilicus.Your pubic hair is indeed pulled up and the distance from the scar is short. There are also unsightly scars in the pubic area which are presumably from the drains.Laser hair removal could be performed on the pubic hair, however, it would require a revision to address the other issues.
