Armpit issues/ugly arms. Is there anything I can do about this? (Photo)

My armpits are two different sizes and I want to know if is it something I should see my doctor about. It seems gross to me and kind of annoying but I’m not sure if the doctor could do anything about it or if it has to do with how my bones and muscles and what not are laid out in there or if more and workouts would help it go away.

Hello, thank you for your question about what to about your "ugly arms and armpit issues". This is difficult to fully assess without more information (weight loss history, current weight, age, etc.) and physical exam (is this excess skin or fat or both?). Basically, you have three good options: 1) do nothing, but your "issues" will not be solved. 2) VASER armpit and arm liposuction and 3) a formal arm reduction or brachiopalsty which includes arm liposuction. Some cal this an arm lift, but it is not an arm lift; it is an arm reduction. VASER armpit and arm liposuction takes about 2-3 hours under general anesthesia. Plan for a 1-2 week recovery. For a formal arm reduction, the procedure takes about 3-4 hours and includes arm liposuction. The formal brachioplasty is completed under general anesthesia. Plan for a 2-3 week recovery. With either VASER armpit and arm liposuction or a formal arm reduction, you will need compression garment for 6 weeks. I would not waste your money on Cool Sculpting or Kybella. We are all asymmetrical to some degree.  You can consider liposuction to help bring your arms into better symmetry.  J Plasma could be added if loose skin is a concern.  Another less invasive option is BodyTite which requires no general anesthesia.  It can remove fat as well as tighten skin.  I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
