What's up with my cheeks? What do I need done? (Photos)

Question

When I smile, my cheeks fold in a strange way up to my eyebrows, but the very edges stay flat. Is it fat or extra skin? Is it muscle? What do i do for my face not to do this? Thanks!

In certain people, when they smile, the lower anterior cheeks may protrude and sometimes create a fold right behind, resulting in a strange shape. This could be due to enlarged buccal fat pads. However, if this fold extends to the upper portion of the face and towards the ears, it's not related to the buccal fat pad, as it isn't located in that area. In such cases, buccal fat removal could correct the issues in the lower portion of the face. To address the upper portion, a secondary procedure like skin tightening or another intervention might be necessary.
