Does Inmode Forma use cause fat loss?

Question

I have had a couple treatments of Inmode Forma RF used under my eyes to tighten the skin. However, before I continue with more treatments, I’d like to know if there is evidence that suggests RF laser treatments of the face can result in fat loss in the face. Obviously this would ultimately not be a good side effect and would necessitate further treatments and fillers. Thank you for your knowledge and help!

The temperature settings for Forma under the eye area cause skin tightening not fat melting.  The radiofrequency heat technology in the Forma device functions to remodel collagen and elastin and improve skin texture, tone, tightness, and appearance. In my clinical opinion, if done properly, under the correct settings, you should not have any loss of fat. The goal of the treatment and technology is to help maintain a more youthful appearance in the face.

Fat loss can occur from RF when the RF is heated to a specific temperature. InMode Forma is not capable of getting to this high of a temperature so there is no problem with it causing fat loss. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion.
