Can Forma dissolve Botox or fillers (surface level or above muscle)? And can it dissolve your own fat if used improperly (like ulthera)? Should younger patients stretch out the treatment more than a week apart? And how often do you need to get touch ups after the initial series?
Answer: Skin Tightening (Forma, Ultherapy) -- will not dissolve Fat/Fillers/Botox -- needs a series of treatments to see improvement Forma (when done properly) will not dissolve fat, fillers or alter the result of Botox. This is a great tightening treatment for younger patients, and weekly is the standard treatment. The best results come from continuing the treatments monthly or every other month from there on.I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist and skin tightening expert; our office is located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Forma for early 30s Hi Cat, thank you for your questions.Forma should not affect neurotoxin duration. It could possibly affect filler volume but reduction would be a negligible difference.Usually patients in their 20s/early 30s can achieve longer lasting results with fewer treatments but i still recommend following the protocol of having the procedure weekly, unless directed otherwise by the practitioner performing the treatment. There are several fail safe protocols, even on the device itself, that are in place to keep it from causing fat loss. However, like nearly any device, if it is used improperly it could cause undesirable results. This is why I would recommend that you seek out/consult with an experienced practitioner to address these concerns directly prior to having the treatments. Best of luck!

Answer: Can Forma dissolve Botox or Fillers or your own fat? Thank you so much for your question, Forma can and will dissolve fat, and can also dissolve filler but Fora does not dissolve Botox! Patients should stretch out the treatment to ever 10-14 days, after the initial series it is suggested that patients get touch ups every 4-6 months or as needed.

Answer: Botox fillers and lasers The most important and critical part in this equation is seeing a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who offers these procedures. There are many factors in deciding which settings are used, and it is well known that a lot of these machines are very much operator dependent. Overall i prefer to do radiofrequency first, followed by fillers like restylane juvederm or belotero. I generally don't like to do anything after fillers and or botox for at least two weeks as they integrate. Having said that, there are at least a couple of studies that show that ultrasound and radiofrequency does not affect fillers. For optimal results I recommend that you discuss a personalized plan with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon

Answer: Radiofrequency skin tightening treatment and Botox/fillers If possible, I would first have the radiofrequency treatments and then the Botox and filler treatments. Forma is a radiofrequency treatment for skin tightening. It should not affect Botox results. However, superficially placed fillers maybe affected. Deeper fillers like that placed in the cheeks should not be affected. An alternative treatment option to Forma is a combination treatment using Sublime and Sublative on elos Plus platform.
