I'm contemplating either Fractora or Forma for my face and neck. What are the main benefits of Fractora vs Forma treatments?

Cost is a factor, but it looks like you might only need 1 Fractora treatement per area vs 3-6 with Forma (which may end up being a wash). Other factors, I'm interested in comparing are: 1. How long will the benefits last on average for both of these treatment options 2. How long it takes to see improvement 3. Recovery/down time Thank you!

Fractora RF is great and has 2 methods of treatments. One is a gentle fractora with no downtime and is roughly $1500/session for the face/neck/chest and only needs topical cream anesthesia.  It usually needs 2-3 treatments to see a noticeable improvement.  The other method which is what i recommend is much more aggressive and so much more effective. We give a little iv sedation and local anesthesia and really get a lot of passes with various heads on the fractora RF and add PRP as well as defenage afterwards for maximum results. There is a 3-4 day downtime and cost is on special for $4500. Usually it only needs 1 treatment and should be done every 1-2 yrs. Forma is nice and has no downtime and is done 1-2 times per week for 6-8 treatments and then once every couple of months for maintenance. It helps but doesn't do near what Fractora RF does.Don't waste your money on ultherapy since it is very painful and works only 1/3 of the time and is nowhere near as effective as Fractora RF which works on everyone.

Thanks for your question. While the treatments are similar, the number of treatments and the end result are very different. Forma is a pleasant treatment, almost relaxing. A probe delivering RF energy is massaged into the face and neck, encouraging thermal contraction. 6-8 treatments are needed spaced no more than two weeks apart. Fractora is a much more intense treatment and can be described anywhere from uncomfortable to painful. Numbing is applied and several passes are made using RF needles to boost collagen production, encourage skin contraction, treat hyperpigmentation, acne scars, sun spots, and redness. 1-3 Fractora treatments are needed depending on the depth used for each treatment. While both treatments are effective it really depends on what you are looking for.

Don't expect much with either.  Both of these treatments do a little at most.  If you have little need for improvement they may be reasonable.  Otherwise, you're much better off with something surgical.
