I am getting a rhinoplasty and septoplasty done in a week and the day before I have an appointment with my dentist for teeth cleaning. Is this going to affect my surgery? Should I cancel my dentist appointment?

Oral steroids for a week immediately after a revision rhinoplasty can help to limit or reduce post-op swelling. Kenalog injections are used by some physicians later in the healing process. Congratulations. Hope you have a great wedding day.

Full healing after rhinoplasty takes one year for the shape to come through and the tip to soften completely. Steroid injections will not help and should be avoided. At two years your nose is as it will be, and revision is the only answer.
