Tattoo removal on dark skin, which is the best laser in my case? (Photo)

Hello! I'm interested in getting a tattoo removed on my collarbone. I've had it for a few years and had started a tattoo removal process on my wrist that did not go very well due to the color of the tattoo, and my skin complexion. I was hoping to get an honest opinion on the collarbone tattoo. Based on my skin tone, what is the best laser to use? And can it be removed with little to no scarring or hypopigmentation?

Hello!The Picosure laser from Cynosure is safe for all skin types. Often times it is just referred to as the pico laser. Since your tattoo is in black ink you should not have any issues with removing based on the color of the ink. The tattoo should be able to be removed safely and with no adverse reactions. During your treatments make sure to keep the tattoo moisturized similar to getting the tattoo, because that is going to insure optimal healing, an example being aquaphor. Best of luck!

Hello, candela's picoway laser would be the best option for you.  It is safe on all skin colors and works very efficiently with less downtime than other lasers.  Black ink usually responds very well to laser tattoo removal so you should be able to get good clearance of your tattoo with little downtime and an easier healing process.
