Thank you for your question in regards to laser tattoo removal. While laser tattoo removal is the gold standard to safely and efficiently remove unwanted ink, it is important that the proper laser wavelength is being used to achieve desired results. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.
Hello Molly. Different tattoo colors require different wavelengths of light to remove them. For the colors you have, Alexcandrite (755) and Ruby (690) would most effectively remove the tattoo color.
