I am 5 1” and about 145. I have decided to do a breast augmentation. I am not really looking to do a lift right now as I plan to have a few more kids. My question is I know a larger implant will give me more of a lift. I was originally planning about 355. But I don’t think I’ll actually get the size or look I want. What size implant would give me a perkier lift knowing it would be higher than 355
Answer: Breast Augmentation without a lift It's important to know that your assumption that a breast implant will lift the breast is not correct. Most people think this but it is not true. Breast implants don't lift the breast regardless of their size. If you were to only get a breast augmentation rather than a lift your results would not be good at all as the implants would be in the correct position but your breasts would be falling off the implants. It would not be a good look and no where near your wish pic. It doesn't look like you wish pic had a lift but rather just an augmentation so it is difficult to compare as those are two totally different operations. Your breast option is to certainly to get a lift with an implant. Trying to get an implant to do the lift will lead you down a road you will not be happy.

Answer: My Recomendation Dear Brittbratt95, thanks for sharing your pictures and concerns, actually I will recommend breast augmentation and lift at the same time, as you are askoing for large implants this will make your breast skin sagging worse. You can choose just augmentation but surely you will not have the results you are looking for in proyection and look will not be that good. Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Hope this helps and best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia.

Answer: Considering augmentation Breast augmentation adds volume to the breasts but will not lift the nipple. You will have larger breasts with the nipples essentially where they are now. It is also worth keeping in mind that if you select large implants they are heavy and may make sagging worse. You can consider augmentation alone but it is important to understand what you can expect in terms of results. I encourage you to begin by scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss your options.

Answer: Choosing the right size and profile breast implants for you. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them. Answer: Bellesoma Method You need to understand that implants do not lift breasts. They may lift the position of the nipple-areola complex but not the center of mass of the breast. The technique I recommend is a breast lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later. fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
