I had initial Breast Reduction in March 2022. I was left with Nipples deformed, completely inverted. Had scar revision and attempt to repair nipples in November 2022. Nipples are being drawn in again. I am hating the way my body looks. WOuld implants help draw out the nipples and give me a full look?

Hello, thank you for your question. Sorry to hear that you are not feeling too happy with your results. I would speak to your plastic surgeon to see what your options are. An implant may help to fill in the upper portion of the breast and possibly fill in the rest of the breast tissue.

It seems that the loose appearance of the areola can be improved by inserting the implant. The overall look will also be fuller. Inserting an implant may improve the inverted nipple very slightly, but it will not completely resolve it. It seems that additional implant correction surgery is needed for the inverted nipple.

It seems like you have inadequate soft tissue support and upper pole fill. This is a challenging issue to correct. I would recommend placement of "tall implants" with an internal scaffold support system in addition to potentially removing some of the excess skin if needed. I would recommend seeing a well-trained plastic surgeon with experience in revision breast surgery.

Most likely additional volume placed behind the nipple and areola should improve their appearance and implants would be a reliable method to accomplish this. Thank you for your question. Your breasts are bottoming out, which is pulling your nipple down and inverting them. I would be very hesitant to place an implant as you’ve had the breast reduction done most likely because your breasts were large and heavy, and this is what an implant, unless very small would re-create. A good option for you is a breast lift with an internal bra to provide support and to keep the breasts up. Fat grafting could be used for customized volume replacement. Good luck.

Yes, implants will help give more volume to help push out your nipples. Your nipples are sinking in because of lack of volume. Your other option is to have another lift, reposition the breasts again and tighten the loose skin.

Based on your photos I think there are 2 viable options to try to correct your nipples.  One would be to place an implant in order to fill out the breast and areolar complex.  You may, however need to consider an implant that has a higher profile.  The other option that may work is to perform a scar release in the area followed by fat transfer to try to fill the space and push out the nipple areolar complex.
