I'm interested in alarplasty but I'm afraid of the scar down the nostrils. What is the best approach to prevent scarring?

I am African American with very thick skin that is prone to scarring. I am interested in alarplasty but is afraid of the scar down the nostrils. What is the best approach to prevent scarring? Are regular stitches better than dissolvable stitches as far as preventing the scar. What about using hydrogen peroxide to clean the stitches? Some say it goods other don't. What is best to use to clean the stitched to prevent scarring?
