At my initial consult, I told my ps that I desire a C cup from an A cup. I am a petite woman, and my chest diameter was 9". He recommended 220 cc high profile mentor implants. I am 2 weeks post op now, and I feel like I am more a B cup than a C Cup. However from the forums on RealSelf, I read that 220 ccs can look different on other women depending on their frame and chest width. I would like to double check to see if I am overreacting or not. Thank you for your time.
Answer: Second opinion: 108lbs 5 ft 1in with 220cc Mentor implants , desire C cup, am I overreacting? Your result looks very nice so far. It is too early to evaluate your result. Over the next 8-12 weeks. Implants will drop into position and look more full. You will likely fit a C cup at Victoria secret

I think you can have a second opinion when you reach 3 to 6 months. It's way to early right now.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)

Answer: Second opinion: 108lbs 5 ft 1in with 220cc Mentor implants , desire C cup, am I overreacting? I'm sorry to hear about the anxiety you are experiencing after breast surgery. Given that you are very “early” out of surgery, it is quite likely that you are experiencing significant “emotional ups and downs” unnecessarily. In other words, it is much too early to evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed; your breasts will undoubtedly change over the course of the next several weeks/months. Many of my patients report that as the swelling around the breast implants (for example, in the sternal area) decreases, they feel that their breasts appear more projecting. Also, in my opinion, the "drop and fluff” phenomenon does hold some validity; as breast implants “settle”, many patients feel that their breasts actually look larger. Although online consultants cannot predict whether or not you will be pleased with the long-term outlook, of the procedure performed, it is safe to predict that the breasts will change. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be pleased with longer-term.

Answer: Thanks for your question and photos. With your limited photos you look pretty and proportionate. That is not to say that your goals have necessarily been achieved. Your plastic surgeon was appropriately conservative with your petite frame, but whether or not he or she was too conservative is something only you can answer for yourself. In general I discourage my patients from focusing too much on bra cup size since there is a fair amount of variability and they are notoriously inaccurate. It is still very early and your breast and implants need time to settle. You can obviously still wear a padded bra, but if six to twelve months from now you remain convinced that you are smaller that you would like, discuss this with tournaments plastic surgeon. Upsizing is fairly simple and straightforward, and if you stay with your original plastic surgeon he or she will probably do all they can to minimize the financial impact of revision surgery. Best of luck to you.
