Are the lumps under my skin the cause for the extra dimples on my thighs after Cellfina, and is it normal to still have them?

Cellfina is a great treatment for the dimples of cellulite, especially on the buttocks.  One interesting thing about it is that the results continue to improve over many months. The minimally invasive nature of the procedure produces minor trauma under the skin and the body responds with inflammation and in turn collagen formation.  This process can (and often does) result in lumps that you can feel weeks after treatment.  These always resolve and signal that continuing collagen formation is occurring leading to better results. Of course there is  no substitute for following up with your physician to assess and reassure that things are progressing as desired.
