I am taking warfarin and have have dermal fillers in cheeks while on warfarin, but I am wanting to get fillers again in my cheeks. However I have a foot injury a few weeks ago and developed a hematoma. It's still trying to recover with some inflammation still. Would it be safe to get the fillers in cheeks? Could it affect the hematoma in anyway by causing more systemic inflammation etc? I'm still on anti coagulant (warfarin). Thank you

Answer: Dermal Fillers on someone who has foot hematoma
The condition you described does not put you at a higher risk of having filler to the tear trough area. Be sure to see an expert injector for your treatment and to discuss any concerns.
It would be unlikely that 10-12 years after your filler treatment that it would still present and causing puffiness. It could be related to herniated fat, allergies, the aging process, or something else. If it is from herniated fat then a lower blepharoplasty would improve the appearance. I...
Once the fillers have settled it should be okay to massage the non treated areas as you described. However I encourage you to demonstrate to your injector where and how the area is massaged to get her/his opinion.
