Hello. Would bodytite be a solution for the wrinkled skin on my breasts following drastic weight loss? I’d like to combine this with inverted nipple correction. I’m 36y, 10C, 54kg
Answer: Breast skin after BodyTite BodyTite is primarily designed for body contouring and skin tightening in areas such as the abdomen, thighs, arms, and face. While it can be effective for improving mild to moderate skin laxity in these areas, its application to the breasts for skin laxity after weight loss is less common and less straightforward. Here are some considerations: Breast Skin Laxity: After significant weight loss, the breasts may experience skin laxity due to reduced volume and elasticity. BodyTite may provide some degree of skin tightening in the breast area, particularly around the lower part of the breast and the sides (axillary region). Limitations: BodyTite is not typically used as a primary treatment for breast ptosis (sagging). Moderate to severe breast sagging often requires a breast lift (mastopexy), which involves removing excess skin and reshaping the breast tissue to achieve a more youthful contour. Consultation with a Plastic Surgeon: If you're concerned about breast skin laxity after weight loss, it's essential to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. They can evaluate your breasts, discuss your goals, and recommend the most appropriate procedure(s) to address your concerns effectively. Alternative Treatments: Depending on the degree of skin laxity and your goals, options may include a breast lift with or without augmentation (if volume loss is also an issue), rather than relying solely on BodyTite for skin tightening in the breast area. In summary, while BodyTite can improve mild to moderate skin laxity in various body areas, including around the breasts, its role in addressing significant breast ptosis after weight loss may be limited. A consultation with a plastic surgeon will provide you with personalized recommendations and a treatment plan tailored to achieve your desired breast appearance and contour.

Answer: Am I a candidate? Congratulations on your recent weight loss! From your submitted photos you have too much laxity in the breasts to be a good candidate for BodyTite. A breast lift with or without implants should give you a nice improvement.

Answer: BodyTite not the best option Ggirl32 Thank you for your question and sharing the photos. From your photo there is quite a bit of laxity and skin wrinkling of the breasts. Bodytite will help but honestly will probably not be able to achieve the result you want. I would recommend considering an open surgical breast reduction or augmentation. With those surgeries you could also have the nipples corrected. Wishing you the best of health.

Answer: Bodytite for breasts Bodytite, and other radio frequency devices are not effective in a breast tissue. Your best options would be fat grafting, implants, or a breast lift. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
