Answer: Bodytite for Inner thigh Skin laxity Hello Youngmind, Thank you for your question. BodyTite delivers radiofrequency energy both under the skin and on the surface, heating the tissue to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin while also melting small amounts of fat if present. For a 70-year-old patient, skin laxity is often more pronounced due to natural aging—collagen and elastin production slow down significantly, and skin loses its ability to bounce back as effectively as it does in younger individuals. You may already have lost fat in that inner thigh, so losing more would not benefit you. The inner thighs are especially tricky because the skin is thinner and less anchored to underlying structures, making laxity more noticeable. This is a common area of the body that patients have concerns with. For someone in their 70s, BodyTite can offer improvement, but the results depend on a few factors: the degree of laxity, the patient’s overall skin quality, and their health. If the laxity is mild to moderate—say, some sagging but not extreme drooping—BodyTite might tighten the skin enough to make a visible difference. It’s less invasive than surgery, with no large scars and a shorter recovery time. If there is significant hanging skin, which I cannot tell in this photograph—BodyTite alone might not cut it. Surgical options, like an inner thigh lift, are more effective at removing excess skin and reshaping the area, though they come with longer recovery and visible scarring. BodyTite won’t remove loose skin; it only tightens what’s there by boosting collagen. I would suggest consulting with several experienced Board Certified Surgeons in person so they can give their opinion of a realistic outcome. Good Luck, Adam Kinal MD

Answer: Laxity and Bodytite Hello and thank you for your question! The answer depends on what you would like to see as your end result. Bodytite is not a surgical procedure and, while it can significantly tighten skin and improve texture, it will not be the same as having a thigh lift that actually removes skin and pulls it tight before suturing back together. It is hard to tell if you are a candidate based on this photo, but you might be. I recommend that you have a consultation with a Bodytite provider to see if you fit the criteria. Good luck!

Answer: Bodytite and skin laxity BodyTite is a minimally invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to tighten the skin and reduce excess fat in various areas of the body, including the thighs. While BodyTite can provide significant skin tightening benefits, it's essential to note that it may not be suitable for cases with excessive skin laxity. If you have significant skin laxity in the thigh and knee areas, BodyTite alone may not be sufficient to achieve the desired results. In such cases , it can be combined woth morpheus8 and also look into other internal issues like optimization of hormones, vitamins, exercise and dietary habits. Sometimes a surgical procedure like a thigh lift or a knee lift may be more appropriate to address the excess skin and achieve optimal contouring. It would be best to consult with a qualified esthetic professional to assess your specific situation. They can evaluate the degree of skin laxity, discuss your goals and expectations, and recommend the most suitable treatment options for you.

Answer: Body titet question Because body tite is a bipolar, tissue, tightening device, when introduced under the skin, it invariably melts the subcutaneous fat, which results in loss of volume and further progression of skin looseness over a period of 6 to 12 months. Even though in the initial stages, the results may look promising, I would not recommend using this modality. I can recommend using Renuvion however, because it does not destroy fat cells which are necessary in an aging individual. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
