Hello! I advise my patients not to lie on their stomachs for the first few weeks after breast implant surgery. For added comfort, you can place a pillow on your side to maintain your position. You can also sleep at a reclined angle with the support of pillows behind you to reduce the pressure on your implants so they can heal faster.
Please ask your surgeon when sleeping on your stomach is possible. Although it is best to sleep on your side or back initially, sleeping on your front should not cause injury or rupture to the implant. However, you should wear a good supportive bra.
I do not think there is a specific time that you can not sleep on yoru stomach., I would probably say at least a few weeks once the pain goes away and you have healed. Always good to check with your doctor.
I advise my breast augmentation patients that they may sleep on their stomachs whenever it becomes comfortable for them. It is best to check with the surgeon that performed your surgery for their protocol.Craig Colville, M.D.
It is probably better to ask your surgeon. Sleeping on the implants before the capsule has formed may contribute to displacement of the implants, so three months seems reasonable. Most patients find it uncomfortable for longer than that, so it is not often an issue. All the best.

If the sizers looked good, and your surgeon did measurements to assure that the implants were appropriate to your breast anatomy, then it sounds like you have a good fit. The implants will probably look just a bit smaller than the same size of trials worn over the breasts. All the best.
I would disagree with the responses here except that it's difficult to determine sizes without an exam. I would also disagree that using external sizers to determine cc's of volume and its effect is effective.Cup sizes are far from exact and there is no way to easily measure your current size in...
After surgery, it is not uncommon for patients to see “spitting stitches”. It occurs when the body expels a foreign object—like a suture—naturally. Although a little unsettling, this is typically not a major problem. The type of operation, the incision's location, and your general health ...
It's still early into your healing. Hence, it's not likely you are experiencing capsular contracture. Your #healing will continue for 2-3 months for the early period. This includes some #swelling, bruising, malposition, color differences and sensation will be abnormal. Scars will also be...
