Foreheads can vary a lot! The temples especially, can take a large amount of filler to volumize properly. Most people will need one to two syringes, even 3, per side. The forehead itself is a little trickier because too much volume here can look really bad. I wouldn't do more than one syringe at a time and build up slowly to get the best result. Keep in mind swelling can be an issue and things will probably look worse before they get better.Hope this helps!Dr. Amy
There's absolutely nothing better than the person's own fat when it comes to treating a forehead that either has sharp ridges or is lacking roundness. Otologous fat provides a patient with permanent and natural results. Good luck from New York City
When treating forehead volume loss, I usually use 1 (1 mL) syringe of Restylane. In some cases, I will dilute the Restylane with bacteriostatic saline to make it easier to spread along the frontal bone.
For the most part fillers are reserved to correct volume loss in the mud and lower face as well as temple area
Hello and thank you for your question. Dermal fillers can successfully address forehead volume loss by resupplying the skin with hyaluronic acid. Popular filler brands for targeting the forehead include Juvéderm and Restylane. Forehead wrinkles, however, can be eliminated using Botox injections. If you are experiencing both a lack of volume and forehead wrinkles, your best treatment approach may be a combination of Botox and fillers.A board-certified plastic surgeon will be able to determine the best treatment approach for your needs during an in-person consultation. Hope this helps!
The folds you notice are called the nasolabial folds (nose to mouth) and labiomandibular folds (mouth to mandible). These are normal folds which we all have and they tend to get deeper over time. There is no way to permanently remove these folds nor should you try as these are a normal part of...
Filler can be put almost anywhere. Your photos are hard to expand. I would start with any of the HA fillers that are not particularly dense. You can always dissolve it if you don't like the way it looks. Have a mirror in your hand when you are being injected and you can see the immediate re...
Hello and thank you for your question. I like using Juvederm fillers for filling the face since it is easily reversible if needed and safe. However these injections are tricky. Make sure you see an experienced physician who is well aware of the intricate anatomy of the face. I hope this...
There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1 to 2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 minutes at a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with your final results, you...
Hello, and thank you for your questions. First, lip fillers done by an experienced professional can change the shape of your lips within reason. Without a photo, it’s difficult to tell whether or not you might be able to see the results you’re looking for with fillers, but it’s absolutely worth...
Thank you for your question! Yes, you should be able to have fillers. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results. Symmetry and volume of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic derm...
